I was making notes for myself yesterday, or rather of things left to do for the wedding, when I had this huge smack upside my head! BLAM! I somehow in all the excitement completely forgot a key ingredient on my part of the recipe. I never actually picked up my official Divorce Decree. What an idiot am I? I can't get a Marriage License without it. I honestly believe it was the Spirit telling me that I had to take care of it. So that's what I did today. I went down to Rancho Cucamonga, and got the thing.
This did have a benefit. I was reminded that Andrea and I's first date was just two days after the judge cleared the divorce. I know, you are thinking moving kinda quick for a recently divorced guy. So I'll remind everyone that I had been single/separated for 2 ½ years. So it was just a matter of saying “Boom-Baby,” lets get a move on, or as Carrie Borman would say, “Jim's Biological Clock is ticking!” Not that I was in a rush to go run off and get married again. (Obviously I waited almost 2 years before I asked Andrea.)
So with this I que the music...
P.S.: Everyone say a Prayer for Shawna. Poor NAnna got sick on her plane ride to Peru and has to stay in Atlanta for a little while.
