Today was the day I was able to make a true first step in the union of an eternal marriage with Andrea. I had that wonderful opportunity to go through Andrea's first Endowment session with her, and then bring her...into the Celestial room. It's such a glorious experience to take place between a couple. If only everyone had the understanding. To top it off, Andrea's mom actually acted like a mom. She was extremely kind and helpful to Andrea as her escort through the temple. So it made the whole time in the temple that much more special. Andrea was so beautiful in her temple dress,... you know she was totally glowing and stuff! We had Andrea's grandma, aunt and uncle, mom and dad all there for her, as well as my parents and my little sister (adopted) Robynne. It was an experience we will both remember forever. I love her.
Now to Halloween. It wasn't the best way to prepare to go to the temple the next day, but all of our plans kept getting trashed, so we ended up doing what we didn't want to do. We stayed home and handed out candy, and watched some episodes of Dexter: Season 2. Andrea went was Uma Thurman in Kill Bill, and I was a Crazy 88 also from Kill Bill. So we fit together, her the good guy and me the bad guy. We only had like 30-40 kids come to the door, it was an easy night of trick or treating. We made the most of the night. the boosoms are a little inappropriate. but i like the costume. next year she'll have to cover the 'girls' up.
Holy cow! I can't even show the girls your costumes! Next year you guys can dress as "super examples" how about? ha ha
