What seems happy, probably is, or is it?

Yesterday was a chilly-windy Lancaster day. Nothing out of the ordinary. I went to work which was going awesome, then out of no where, Hell broke loose upon my operation. I went from chill to stressful, to almost defeat. Yet my employees are the coolest anyone could ask for, it's a respect thing, and no one went home or even thought about it. They all stayed and asked where they could help to fix the problems. The funny part is we were BBQ for all the employees at the building, yet my employees that I overlook, weren't selfish and helped. I almost wanted to cry. I take care of them, so they took care of me when it was needed. Not many people can say that they'll help out a management person just because.
So after I wigged out, it was time to drive home and change clothes so I could go have that little chat with Andrea's dad. Not what I expected from her dad. Andrea and I figured that his only real two questions would be if I was temple worthy (which I am), and if I loved her. The question of love was the second to last question, and the temple question was the last. He just went on about finances, and Andrea spending money if she wasn't working, how would we survive if I was the only one working, etc. I was kind of blind sided with his concerns, but I pulled through like all Orlando's do! And being today as the "proposal day" for her parents, Andrea didn't follow the plan we made before hand and now we'll have to come up with something quick. I'll just say it's both our faults, cause I should have reminded her.
Anyways, I am still waiting to hear from the investigator job, and am putting in a letter of promotion interest at UPS. We'll see how that goes.
